Fair Trade

Fair Trade started in 1992 and they wants to help improve the life of poor farmers in the third world. They imply safe and healthy work conditions and good wages for the workers. Workers must be allowed to join trade unions. There are no premiums for Fair Trade products and people could afford it to pay a bit more. The people using the Fair Trade label have to pay fees and many can’t afford that. It’s bad for the environment because of the transport and people want to support local farmers.

I think Fair Trade is a good company. Much more people should buy Fair Trade products!
